Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My: LDS Missionaries Talk to Animals

LDS missionaries have a love for animals and all kinds of creatures. I guess they miss their pets at home or animals on the farm if they are ranchers or farmers. Several I have seen take their picture with some kind of animal or insect. I have collected a few of them including one of their favorite activities teaching animals from the Book of Mormon. We see one sister talking to a lamb, we know there will be animals in the celestial kingdom since the lion will lie down with the lamb. A mission president relates in one picture to a lion.

Good one, DH! Missionaries do love animals. Remember that one missionary in Texas who stuck his bare foot into a red ant pile so he could have the experience of being stung by them?

btw, is Sponge Bob considered an animal?

That's one thing I regret NOT doing on a mission: taking a picture of me with some animal! :-)
