How Can I Know?

I have found in my life a constant struggle to recognize God's influence. It is consistent with God's plan for it to be this way. This is because it is given to man to choose. "Wherefore, the Lord God gave unto man that he should act for himself. Wherefore, man could not act for himself save it should be that he was enticed by the one or the other" (2 Nephi 2:16). I think that I often lose sight of this. However I'm so grateful for it. God trusts me to make right choices. That's some serious responsibility right there. However, sometimes I don't have confidence in myself to make the right decisions. How can I know if I am making the right choice?

I am a Montana boy and lets just say that I am technologically challenged. My parents raised us in a simple home. Together we are computer illiterate. I can barely use a cell phone. I know how to do two things on a computer: 1. Type papers 2. Access email, that is about it. My friends talked me into getting a facebook. I barely knew how to work that. Everyone loved it though. I couldn't see why. When I left for my mission I vowed that I would never get on facebook again. I thought I was through with it forever. I was wrong.
