Trying To Be a Better Me: Elder Vomocil, LDS Online Missionary

The Gospel of Jesus Christ changes lives. I look back on my life and sometimes wonder what I would be doing now, where I would be if I had never come to that knowledge. I am so thankful for the experiences I have had, and have been able to share with people to help them see "a way out," help them find hope. When I met this man down there, he was alone, addicted, broken, lonely and out of hope. He didn't feel like he really was a child of God. Then my companion and I brought him the good news.

My man Eugene

Slowly, Eugene has put his trust in God and followed Jesus Christ. He realized that without Jesus Christ, he stands alone. Through the Holy Ghost, he has been able to see the things in His life that are keeping his Heavenly Father from blessing him. He is realizing that as he changes, he is becoming happier. Despite the way he looks in the picture, he actually smiles a ton now! Truly, the Gospel of Jesus Christ has and will continue to change my man Eugene.

As a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I have the wonderful commission to share this "good news" with everyone I meet here in Woodland, California. To add to my joy, I was asked to also share what I know with people everywhere through the Internet. What a wonderful blessing it has been. Truly, I invite all others to "come unto Christ" so that they can experience all the wonderful blessings Eugene and I have experienced, and the Father has promised to his children.

Follow my journey, you might stumble upon something that could help you grow closer!

With love,

Elder Rob Vomocil
